DALLAS - McCurley Orsinger McCurley Nelson & Downing, L.L.P., name partner Richard R. Orsinger is the "2011 Dallas Family Lawyer of the Year," according to a survey conducted by U.S. News & World Report and The Best Lawyers in America.
For the first time, the publishers of U.S News/Best Lawyers named attorneys as "Lawyer of the Year" based on their work in different practice areas in select U.S. cities. Mr. Orsinger earned the title of Dallas' top family lawyer based on nominations from other attorneys who ranked their peers on ability, professionalism, and integrity. The survey is based on thousands of confidential nominations from leading lawyers across the U.S.

He was named one of Texas' Top 10 attorneys in the 2011 Texas Super Lawyers list, and also has been named the "Top Family Lawyer in Texas" by Texas Lawyer newspaper. He is one of the few attorneys recognized by The Best Lawyers in America in both Family Law and Appellate Law.
