DALLAS - Attorney Monica Cruz, an associate in the Dallas office of the Family Law firm of McCurley Orsinger McCurley Nelson & Downing, LLP, has been appointed to the Texas Bar Association District 1 Grievance Committee.

Dedicated to the review of professional complaints against attorneys, District 1 covers Bowie, Camp, Cass, Collin, Delta, Fannin, Franklin, Grayson, Harrison, Henderson, Hopkins, Hunt, Kaufman, Lamar, Marion, Morris, Panola, Rains, Red River, Rockwall, Titus, Upshur, Van Zandt and Wood counties.

Ms. Cruz's practice is devoted to the practice of Family Law. As a member of the Collaborative Professionals of Dallas, her practice also is open to the use of mediation and collaborative law options. Prior to joining McCurley Orsinger, she served as an Assistant Attorney General in the Child Support Division for the Texas Attorney General's Office.
