DALLAS - Mike McCurley and Mary Jo McCurley, name partners in the Family Law firm of McCurley Orsinger McCurley Nelson & Downing, LLP, have earned a place on D Magazine's 2011 listing of T he Best Lawyers in Dallas.
Among the most respected Family Law attorneys in Texas, Mr. McCurley and Ms. McCurley are no strangers to accolades.
Mr. McCurley was recently selected by Worth magazine as one of the Top 100 Attorneys in the U.S. and frequently has been recognized among the top lawyers in Dallas by D Magazine. He has been included in every Texas Super Lawyers listing since its inception in 2003, including recognition among the Top 100 Lawyers in Texas and Top 100 Lawyers in Dallas-Fort Worth. He is a former president of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and former chairman of the State Bar of Texas Family Law Council.
Ms. McCurley, previously recognized as one of the "Best Women Lawyers in Dallas" by D Magazine, also has been included among the Top 50 Women Lawyers in Texas by Texas Super Lawyers, published by Thomson Reuters, Legal division. She is a former chair of the Family Law Section of the State Bar of Texas and former vice president of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers.
To compile the 2011 listing of the top attorneys in Dallas, D Magazine solicited nominations from lawyers across North Texas. The magazine's executive editor then met with an independent blue-ribbon panel of attorneys to finalize the list.
