DALLAS - The Dallas family law firm of McCurley Orsinger McCurley Nelson & Downing, L.L.P., is pleased to announce that seven firm attorneys have earned spots among the state's top legal counsel the 2009 Texas Super Lawyers listing.
Once again, partners Mike McCurley, Richard R. Orsinger, Mary Johanna McCurley, Keith M. Nelson, R. Scott Downing and John E. Alexander, along with associate Brad M. LaMorgese, were highlighted on the annual listing of the premier attorneys in Texas.
Five firm partners received special recognition this year, with Mr. Orsinger featured among the state's Top 10 lawyers and Ms. McCurley included among the Top 50 women attorneys in Texas. Ms. McCurley, Mr. McCurley and Mr. Downing each were recognized among the Top 100 lawyers in the state, and Mr. Nelson was highlighted among the Top 100 in DFW.
To compile the Texas Super Lawyers listing, nominations were solicited from more than 70,000 attorneys across Texas. A blue-ribbon panel of lawyers chosen by the Texas Super Lawyers editors then assisted with final selections before naming fewer than 5 percent of the state's attorneys to be included in the final list.
The Texas Super Lawyers list appears in the October 2009 issue of Texas Monthly magazine and Texas Super Lawyers magazine, a publication co-produced by the publishers of Texas Monthly and Law & Politics Media Inc.
