McCurley Orsinger Attorneys Again Honored
As Texas Super Lawyers
DALLAS – Once again, Texas attorneys have bestowed top honors on a group of lawyers from the Dallas family law firm McCurley Orsinger McCurley Nelson & Downing, L.L.P. Seven of the firm’s lawyers have been named 2005 Texas Super Lawyers in Texas Monthly and Texas Super Lawyers magazines.
Included on the prestigious list are name partners Mike McCurley, Richard R. Orsinger, Mary Johanna McCurley, Keith M. Nelson and R. Scott Downing. Also named to this year’s list are partner John E. Alexander and W. Wayne Ward, who is of counsel to the firm. Each attorney has been recognized for their exemplary work in the field of family law.
In addition to the overall honors, Mrs. McCurley was named one of the Top 50 women attorneys in the state, and one of the Top 100 lawyers in Dallas-Fort Worth. Mr. McCurley was named as one of the Top 100 lawyers in Texas and one of the Top 100 in Dallas-Fort Worth. Mr. Orsinger also made the list of the Top 100 lawyers in Texas and the Top 50 attorneys in Central Texas.

Texas Super Lawyer selections were based on peer nominations made by more than 70,000 attorneys from across the state. A panel of lawyers selected by the Super Lawyers editors made the final selections, and less than 5 percent of the attorneys in Texas were chosen for this honor.
The Super Lawyers list appears in the October 2005 issue of Texas Monthly magazine and in Texas Super Lawyers magazine, a publication co-produced by the publishers of Texas Monthly and Law & Politics Media Inc.
In addition to holding memberships in the Texas Academy of Family Law Specialists, each partner in the firm is Board Certified in Family Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. Mr. Orsinger also is Board Certified in Civil Appellate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.
