For Immediate Release October 10, 2006 McCurley, Orsinger Partners Honored as Super Lawyers DALLAS – Winning professional honors is getting to be a habit at the Dallas family law firm McCurley Orsinger McCurley Nelson & Downing, L.L.P. Attorneys across Texas named every single one of the firm’s six partners as 2006 Texas Super Lawyers. On the prestigious list are name partners Mike McCurley , Mary Johanna McCurley, Richard R. Orsinger, Keith M. Nelson, and R. Scott Downing. Firm partner John Alexander and Of Counsel Wayne Ward also were named 2006 Super Lawyers. This is the second year in a row for all seven lawyers to be so honored. Each was singled out for distinguished work in the field of family law. Mrs. McCurley also was selected as one of the Top 50 women attorneys in the state, and one of the Top 100 lawyers in Dallas-Fort Worth. Mr. McCurley was named one of the Top 100 lawyers in Texas, as well as one of the Top 100 in Dallas-Fort Worth. To compile the list, more than 55,000 lawyers all over Texas nominated the attorneys whose work they most admire. Super Lawyers editors chose a blue-ribbon panel of attorneys who made the final selections. Fewer than 5 percent of all attorneys in the state received the special honor. Each partner in the firm holds a membership in the Texas Academy of Family Law Specialists, and is Board Certified in Family Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.
